There is nothing quite like bringing home your brand new baby... I remember it all so well.
Being discharged from the hospital is such a relief, but also so very stressful, am I right? It's like you just want to get OUT of there, but you have millions of papers to fill out, the carseat test, packing up your room etc...
Then there is the drive home. The drive home just feels so unreal... all of a sudden you're headed home with a new baby in the backseat! I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure I had a smile (a tired smile, but a smile) on my face the whole drive home.
Ok, then you get home and all of a sudden you're thrown into a whole new world. Reality hits. (A super amazing reality, by the way...) And parents like Todd and Kylie make it look SO beauitulf and effortless. I spent a couple hours with this sweet family at their home in Scottsdale, capturing the new chapter in their lives. I was so excited when they said they wanted to include their pup as well!
